Crystal Martinez’s parents divorced when she was only eight years old. Her father soon moved out of the house. Now he resides in Canada with his new wife and three children. Crystal didn’t hear from him in eight years until this one fateful day. Her father sent her a letter with a plane ticket asking her to spend the summer with him in Canada. Crystal’s mother absolutely forbids her from going. This causes a huge dilemma for Crystal. Does she visit her father who she hasn’t seen in eight years or does she obeys her mother and stays home?
